Firebird lists a tank flush and anode check at $139. The anode check does not mean a replacement anode or additional repairs are included. If the visit identifies other work, ask for the recommended scope and price before deciding how to proceed.
Tankless descaling
Tankless service has different requirements from a tank flush. Firebird lists descaling at $199. Provide the make and model and tell us when the unit was last serviced, if known. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance when deciding which maintenance is appropriate and when it should be scheduled.
Use local water information as a starting point
Water characteristics can differ by supplier and address. Our Queen Creek and Gilbert service pages link to official town water information. Utility reports describe the supply; they are not a test of the water at your home. Discuss your equipment, service history, and water treatment setup when planning upkeep.
Maintenance is different from repairing an active problem
If your unit is leaking, has stopped heating, or shows an error, describe that when booking. A routine maintenance appointment should not be assumed to fix a fault. Firebird’s diagnostic visit is $79, credited toward repair work performed, with repairs priced separately.
Questions about water heater maintenance.
How often should I schedule maintenance?
Start with the instructions for your exact model, then discuss your water conditions, usage, and service history. We do not assign the same interval to every heater.
Does a flush include replacing parts?
The published tank service is a flush and anode check. Replacement parts and repair work require a separate scope and price.
What should I have ready before booking?
Have the equipment make and model, fuel type, approximate age, last service date if known, and any current symptoms ready. Mention any water softener or other treatment already installed.
